Singer Paul McCartney gave a gift to music students in Brasilia, where the Brazilian leg of his “Got Back” tour kicked off. The performance, held on Thursday 30/11, at the Mané Garrincha Stadium marked the singer’s return to the country after three years.
Before the show, the artist’s team invited music students from UnB (University of Brasilia) and other music centers in the city to attend McCartney’s soundcheck in the afternoon. And after having the privilege of exclusively attending rehearsals for the show, they were given free tickets to the premium dance floor.
It was the former Beatle’s second courtesy towards the Brasilia public, after the invitation to attend a surprise show on Tuesday at the Clube do Choro, a space that can hold up to 400 people.
McCartney will now head to Belo Horizonte, Sao Paulo, Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro, completing a total of nine shows in the country.
