Jade Baraldo talks about gender inequality in new EP ‘Infame’

Singer and songwriter Jade Baraldo released her new EP this Friday (1). Infamouswhich is now available on digital platforms through WarnerMusic. This work addresses, in a relaxed way, very current and impactful issues concerning gender disparity and the countless situations of discrimination experienced by women.

The five new tracks that make up the EP explore the emotional nuances of a breakup, highlighting the ups and downs of that moment and the position of the woman in the face of machismo during the separation process. The project also incorporates a variety of musical influences, ranging from from electronic to popwith elements of hitFrom funkall this combined with deep and meaningful lyrics.

“I’m so excited to share ‘INFAME’ with the world. This EP reflects the experiences many women face on a daily basis, exploring the complexities of relationships and the challenges posed by gender inequality,” comment Giada Baraldo. “I wanted to address these themes in a light but at the same time profound way, using music as a means to express the emotional nuances of those who go through situations like this.”

The singer had already given a taste of what was to come by releasing the first single from the EP, End of the partywhich arrived accompanied by a music video full of personality: “This new project is very special to me, as it is an invitation to reflect on the struggles of women in different contexts. Each track brings with it a unique and personal narrative, and I hope people identify with the stories and feelings I share in this EP”.
