Singer Milton Nascimento shared a video in which he reads a sponsor’s invitation to participate in Paul McCartney’s show on Monday (12/4) at the MRV Arena, in Belo Horizonte.
When his son Augusto Nascimento asked him if he would accept the invitation, the 81-year-old singer replied: “Of course!”. In the caption, he also wrote, “I’m coming out of my (temporary) retirement as a professional soap opera to go on the road for a few days and watch the Paul McCartney show.”
Along with the invitation, Milton also received a Got Back tour t-shirt. When she saw the show, she said, “This is my idol!”
According to the newspaper Estado de Minas, Bituca confirmed that he will be present at the two shows that McCartney will give in Belo Horizonte, including the one on Sunday (12/3).
The singer has always declared his passion for the Beatles, so much so that in 1970 he recorded a song entitled “For Lennon and McCartney”.
