Jung Kook was very emotional on Monday night (12/11) when he performed his last live show with fans before his military enlistment. The South Korean singer will be absent from musical projects for 18 months.
On Instagram, Jung Kook said he spent the day with the other BTS members to follow RM and V’s enlistment. The artist also reported that he and Jimin will be the last to begin serving in the army, a starting this Tuesday (12/12). .
“It looks like this will be my last live before I enlist. Today I accompanied V and RM, then ate and did some things I had to do, so the live was a little late, sorry,” the singer said , who tried to reassure fans and also hold back tears. “Guys, I will go and leave safely. Don’t worry! Now I only have one day left. Are my heart and mind… a little uncertain? But I need to sleep tonight so I can concentrate tomorrow and also focus on other things .”
Finally, Jung Kook thanked his followers for their support and asked them to take care of themselves in his absence: “Thank you so much for all of you who always root for us and support us, even now that we are enlisting . Please be and stay healthy and happy. Tomorrow all members will be in the army. Thank you so much for cheering us on even as we are going in. I will always miss you.
