Paul McCartney’s team has released a retrospective video of the former Beatle’s time in Brazil on YouTube and social media. With the singer’s testimonies, behind the scenes and performances in packed stadiums in the cities of Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Sao Paulo, Curitiba and Rio do Janeiro, the video published this Wednesday (1/3) looks like a trailer for a documentary. However, there is no talk of a wider release.
The caption of the Instagram post simply says that “Paul closed out his 2023 Got Back tour in five major cities in Brazil, finishing with a great show at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro! Thanks to everyone who attended.”
In the material, Paul highly praises the country and the success of his tour here. “It’s a beautiful nation. A people who like to dance, sing… I was surprised that the audience was young, children who knew the words of the songs better than me. We are experiencing a Brazilian explosion.”
