Singer IZA appeared in the playlist ‘13 songs we (almost) missed in 2023′ from the New York Times newspaper with the banner Let it go.
The list, in which the singer shares space with artists such as Ryan Gosling AND Keshait is chosen every Friday by the newspaper’s music critics, who analyze the most important songs of the week.
“IZA, Brazilian singer and rapper, doesn’t just break up with ‘Que Se Vá’, she also cancels her ex’s credit card. Her joyful farewell, with hilarious verses, is driven by Afro-Brazilian rhythms, timed applause and a harmonious choir that rejoices in its resentment”the newspaper wrote.
