Ariana Grande gave more details about the release of his new track, “Yes, And?”. One day after revealing that the single will be released this Friday (12), the singer clarified rumors about the song’s connection with her next album.
According to Ariana, “Yes, And?” it will just be the name of the single, and not of her seventh album, as some fans have speculated. Despite this, the image released by her in the release announcement – a blurred photo of a cutout of her face, with prominent red lipstick – will, in fact, be the cover of the new album.
In a post on her Instagram profile stories, she wrote:
“ps I couldn’t wait any longer to tell you that, although this is not the title of the album, the image will, in fact, be the cover of the album (well… one of them!)”
New album and new film
Scheduled for the first half of 2024, the album was announced by the singer herself on her social networks, last December, with a publication full of recordings of her in the recording studio: “See you next year”, wrote Ariana.
In addition to the new album, Ariana Grande will also be in theaters in 2024, with the release of the first part of Wickedadaptation of the Broadway musical directed by Jon M. Chu (In a New York Neighborhood).
Based on The Wizard of Ozin L. Frank Baumthe production tells the story of Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo, Harriet), a girl with greenish skin, but intelligent and with a strong personality, who would become the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda, Ariana’s character, a beautiful and popular girl, known, in the future, as the Good Witch of the North.
The first part of Wicked premieres on November 27, 2024 in North American cinemas, while the second chapter is scheduled to hit the big screen a year later, on November 26, 2025. The release dates in Brazil, however, have not yet been confirmed.
