Sandy and Lucas announced the end of their marriage last year after nearly 24 years together
Musician Lucas Lima, ex-husband of singer Sandy, participated in a famous Internet trend that generated repercussions. Answering some “I have never had” questions, he did not indicate that “I have never been cheated on” and many Internet users began to wonder whether the cheating was on Sandy’s part.
After the fallout, Lucas spoke out on Instagram stories and clarified that the betrayal was on the part of a schoolmate. “Speaking of being cheated on, relax, guys! I was 15, I was a high school sweetheart. Everything’s fine, everything’s worked out. So, peace on the internet,” she said.
Sandy and Lucas announced the end of their marriage in September 2023. The relationship lasted almost 24 years, 15 of which were married. However, they remain close and have even traveled together. The couple has a son: Theo Lima, nine years old.
“With ups and downs, sometimes happier, sometimes less, but always whole and willing to do our best. And we did. There were no fights, no hurt, no trauma… we were able to see that this was the best way and they will allow us to be a couple in the same way we were: with lots of love, respect and infinite friendship”, they wrote in a joint publication at the time.
