The director will thus come out into the open not one but four films about the famous quartet! His idea is to focus each feature on a different member of the group!

One feature film will therefore adopt Lennon’s point of view, another McCartney’s, the next Harrison’s and finally Starr’s. Mendes will direct all four films himself and I’ll say it like this four interconnected stories. Expiration specifies that, for this project, McCartney, Starr and the families of Lennon and Harrison as well as Apple Corps Ltd granted full rights to the life and music of the Beatles.

When he pitched his project to several Hollywood producers, Mendes received very positive feedback. This is what he himself explained to Deadline: “We were in Los Angeles just before Christmas to present the project and we can say that we were welcomed with general enthusiasm. » On X, Ringo Starr himself also confirmed it the Beatles and their families couldn’t wait to find out the result : “We all support Sam Mendes’ project. »

All four Beatles films will be released in theaters. However, it is still too early to know their release date. Given the ambition of the project, you will probably have to wait a while before you can discover them.
