Porridge is contagious and remains hospitalized in Sao Paulo


Mingau, bassist of the band Ultraje a Rigor, has been hospitalized since February 2 to treat an infectious disease at the São Luiz Hospital, in the Itaim Bibi department, in Sao Paulo. In a note released this Friday (23/2), doctors report that his health conditions are stable.

The hospital reiterates that Mingau was discharged in early January, and returned to hospital due to “infectious pulmonary conditions associated with changes in bowel habits.” The artist is improving after treatment with broad-spectrum antimicrobials, but remains under observation.

The current conditions are stable and the patient remains under observation, no discharge forecast.”
