After picking up her son, she asks the boy to thank his followers for receiving messages of affection. The two sing and dance to a song that plays in the car.
The MC, 34 years old, was hospitalized at the Amaury Coutinho Polyclinic, in the Campina do Barreto neighborhood, in the north of Recife, after suffering a heart attack. He was saved, but did not survive. The death was confirmed by the singer’s team. He leaves behind his wife and son.
MC Elloco and Schevchenko have formed one of the genre’s best-known Brega Funk duos, with a career spanning over 10 years. The two created the slogan “I’m just silent”.
On social media, Schevchenko posted a post with crying emojis, but did not comment on his friend’s death.
Other artists mourned the death of MC Elloco, such as MC Menor, Rogério Som, DJ 7K, Danilo Bolado and Thiago Barros. The mayor of Recife, João Campos (PSB), expressed his regret in a post on Instagram.
“Very sad for the sudden departure of this guy who was essential for Brega Funk. Strength to family and friends and may God comfort their hearts,” wrote the mayor.
