50 Cent is accused of physical assault and rape by his ex-girlfriend

The rapper was also accused of not visiting his twelve-year-old son, of whom he is seeking sole custody in court.

50 Cent was charged Thursday (3/28) with physical assault and rape by ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy. On Instagram, the actress reported the “real actions” in a message addressed to the rapper’s full name, Curtis James Jackson, at the top of the post.

The exhibition began after the artist requested sole custody of his 12-year-old son, Sire. A representative said he acted because of allegations that his ex-girlfriend was a “sex worker,” cited in producer Rodney Jones’ lawsuit against rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Outraged by the situation, Daphne denied the accusations and decided to report a series of abuses she suffered with the rapper. “Let’s really focus on your true evil actions of raping and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will take care of you from now on,” she wrote. “You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these latest, false accusations made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last time.”

Daphne also called him out for joking about the rape and sex trafficking allegations against Diddy. “Everything is a joke to you until our security is compromised, which is happening now. You are causing real damage, frenzy and chaos in people’s lives,” added the actress, who also spoke about her relationship with Sire.

“We moved to New York to give you the opportunity to be a father to your son, and you’ve seen it ten times in the two years we’ve lived a mile from you. I’m tired of upholding and protecting an image for our son you never reached,” added Daphne Joy.

Other accusations

In 2013, 50 Cent was charged with domestic violence against Daphne Joy and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of vandalism. On that occasion, he allegedly kicked his ex-girlfriend in the stomach and destroyed her property during an argument.

The rapper reached an agreement with the Los Angeles prosecutor’s office in the United States to be punished with three years of probation and another 30 days of community service.
