Britney Spears posted a video Thursday (4/4) of her dancing and kissing her ex-husband, Sam Asghari. In her post, later deleted from her Instagram profile, the singer made a long outburst talking about the past and also reflecting on her confidence.
“When he caught me… it’s weird because there are always strange turns in relationships with friends, family or loved ones on the roller coaster of whatever journey you’re on with someone! Looking back is sometimes hard, but it’s honestly crucial … Honestly, I’m sensitive in most situations. Sometimes I talk about my past because I want to protect myself from the same mistakes as before!”, declared the artist.
“Sometimes I lose the ability to understand what’s happening or how I feel! Sometimes I’m afraid to feel something, because I know I’m sensitive… I think being paralyzed is worse,” added the singer, who says she’s just trying to protect themselves and that some people take advantage of that.
Britney also said that it’s complicated dealing with humans: “I feel like it was a lot easier when I was younger, because I feel like I trusted people more and hadn’t yet experienced the cruelty of the world. I miss being vulnerable and open with people. People. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love it… I love it too much, it’s embarrassing and I will love it for the rest of my life! It’s something I want to try to maintain, but not everything is perfect.”
Finally, the artist concluded by saving situations from the past to try to recognize herself: “My hopes are in sharing [meu passado] they are reminding me that I can try to understand why I never feel good enough and know that it’s okay to reach into my brain and try to figure it out… Honestly there is a spiritual eye that knows the truth and triggers why I we do things like people. Britney Spears met Sam Asghari in 2016, when they worked together on the video for “Slumber Party”, made in collaboration with Tinashe. The two married in June 2022 after the singer freed herself from the guardianship of her father, Jamie Spears.
But the marriage didn’t work out and last year Asghari filed for separation due to the singer’s alleged betrayal. Later, she was seen joking with former employees and, two weeks ago, she appeared accompanied by a mystery man on a speedboat ride.
