This is not the first time that the singer has indicated that Blur will go on hiatus
O Blur may be starting a hiatus. Last Saturday, 20th, Damon Albarn stated that the presentation at the Coachella it would be “probably the last show” of the band — formed by Graham Coxon, Alex James It is Dave Rowntree.

“I’m not saying I won’t do it again, it was a huge success, but I’m not living in the past,” he concluded (via NME).
The declaration of Albarn on the second weekend of the festival was made after the artist complained about the audience. During the first presentation in this edition of Coachellaon Saturday, the 13th, he demanded cheer from the audience: “You’re never going to see us again, so you better sing this shit. Got it?”
