Wos started his “Descartable” tour with an unforgettable presentation

Wos kicked off his “Disposable” world tour at the Racing Club stadium of Avellaneda, with an impressive show during which 40,000 people heard for the first time live this work which promises to become a classic.

After 9:30 p.m., Wos took to the huge Cilindro stage to sing “Nuevas Coordenadas,” the song that kicks off his new album and thus set the mood for the night with unparalleled energy.

The staging of the show is linked to the concept of the album: what is disposable, disposable, and finding the light in what really matters. The stage spanned the entire width of the stadiumand is inspired by the aesthetic of brutalism, like a factory that comes to life in each situation of the show.

It was sometimes reminiscent of Plato’s allegory of the cave, with lights and shadows that reflected more than they showed. Jungian tones were also seen with the shadows cast across the cartography, accompanying and highlighting the aesthetic decisions that unite worlds and universes, both analog and digital.

Facing the public, the large walls which – between mapping and lights – generated total immersion in the environment that the artist wanted to generate. The participants were in this brutalist universe.

On stage, the space inhabited by the group did not contain many elements, attention was concentrated on a huge wide screen where we mainly saw a closed circuit of Wos’s interaction with the cameras and his audience, giving it a completely cinematic tone.

Just like the record, the show had special guests: Ca7riel was the first to accompany Wos, getting up to sing the now classic “Niño Gordo Flaco” together.

Next, Dillom took the stage to perform “Cabezas Cromadas,” bringing his modern, alternative sound that captures the premises of a new punk-rock. And finally, almost at the end of the evening, there was a unique moment of immense intimacy, when Wos surprised his audience with the presence of the established Mexican artist Natalia Lafourcade, with whom he sang “La Niebla” live for the first time.

Even though he wasn’t there in person, the aura of Indio Solari once again invaded the Presidente Perón stadium – after 25 years – when the collaboration “Quemarás” played. A dark stage, his image on the screen and dozens of flags on the field capped a quintessential ricotero moment, uniting the generations who surrendered to the young artist who made it possible.

This historic spectacle It was the official presentation of his third studio albumwhich launched on March 21 and received an overwhelmingly positive reception from fans.
