Last Thursday (25th), the singer Madonna won the title of honorary citizen of Rio de Janeiro. The project was voted on and approved unanimously by the councillors.
According to G1, the award is given to people who were not born in the city, but at some point in their lives carried out activities that contributed significantly to the municipality.

It is worth mentioning that Madonna will perform on Copacabana beach on May 4th. The show will be broadcast on TV Globo, Globoplay and Multishow.
