The event, which celebrates the World Rock Dayconfirmed this Monday (29th) two names from Curitiba in training, to heat up the celebrations: Relespublica AND Djambi.
In short, the event, which starts at midday, always tries to unite the public and the most diverse generations, in favor of rock resistance. In total there will be more than 12 hours of live performances.
The band Relespública from Curitiba arrives with a special show, to celebrate the group’s 35th anniversary. Formed in 1988, the band performed at Rock in Rio and released several albums, including “MTV Presents”, becoming a reference in local and national rock, recording hits such as “Minha Menina”, “Não Mais”, “Garoa and Lone,” among others.
In addition to the legends of Relespública, the Crossroads Festival has also confirmed another team from Curitiba, the band Djambi. The group, which has more than two decades of history, is considered one of the foundations of national reggae and has already performed on the Festival stage in 2019, returning now for a show that promises to bring together their greatest hits, such as “Barca Pra Ilha”, “Keep This Feeling”, “Guia” and “Sentido Sul”.
Another name confirmed for the seventh edition of the festival is that of the band River Rise, which appears for the first time on the stage of the largest festival dedicated to World Rock Day in southern Brazil.
Discovered in the Cross Originals project, promoted by Bar Crossroads with the aim of presenting new original bands to the Curitiba public, the group navigates through classic rock and Hard Rock, combining riffs and guitar solos with melodic and modulated vocals, with texts that address the theme of life changes, memories, reality and desires.
“The Crossroads Festival was born within Cross, a space that, since 1997, supports and promotes the rock n’roll scene in Curitiba and nationally. During our 27 years, we have welcomed Relespública to our stage several times. It is It’s an honor to take part in this celebration of the group’s 35th anniversary.”

Since 1997, the house has always promoted a special anniversary event, marking another year in the history of the bar, as well as another year in the history of rock n’ roll.
