Britney Spears says there is ‘no justice’ after paying her father $2 million

The singer and Jamie Spears reached an agreement more than two years after the end of their conservatorship

After losing a legal battle with his father, Britney Spears vented on social media. She had to pay US$2 million to Jamie Spears in an agreement regarding the legal fees involved in the process of terminating his guardianship.

Two days after the decision, taken last Friday, 26, Britney wrote: “My family hurt me!!! There is no justice and probably never will be!!! The people who sat by and did absolutely nothing when they did that for four months are fine!!!”

“The way I was raised, I was always taught the difference between right and wrong, but the two people who raised me that way hurt me!!! I’m so lucky to be here!!!”, she continued. “It’s funny because until today I haven’t spoken to them face to face!!! I send messages on Instagram, but I honestly believe it wouldn’t be safe if I were to speak to them in person!!!”

“The child in me knows they would be destroyed and that’s pretty much it!!! I miss my home in Louisiana and wish I could visit but they took everything away!!!” she added. Later, the artist deleted the post and deactivated her Instagram account.
