In-Edit Brasil – International Musical Documentary Festival takes place between June 12th and 23rd, in São Paulo
O In-Edit Brasil – International Musical Documentary Festival announced the national films selected for its 16th edition, which is scheduled to take place from June 12th to 23rd in São Paulo, followed by traveling events in cities yet to be defined. The Brazilian Panorama includes the National Competition, Mostra Brasil, Brasil.Doc, Curta um Som and Special Sessions sections.

Six titles were chosen for the National Competition, four of which are new, which will have their Brazilian debut during the festival. The winner will enter the In-Edit festival circuit and will be presented by the director at the In-Edit Barcelona 2024.

The program also includes a selection of international documentaries never seen before in Brazil, the exhibition Music and Machinesdedicated to films that address music made by electronic devices, the exhibition Flashbackwith historical films, and an intense parallel program that includes meetings, debates, exclusive shows, a vinyl fair and interviews with directors, directors and artists.
O In-Edit – International Musical Documentary Festival was born in Barcelona in 2003 and has been taking place in Brazil since 2009, with the aim of promoting the production and dissemination of documentary films that have music as a central element. The 2024 edition has the master sponsorship of Colombo Agroindústria and Açúcar Caravelas; sponsorship by Itaú Unibanco and Spcine, through the São Paulo Municipal Department of Culture; partnership between Cinemateca Brasileira and Sociedade Amigos da Cinemateca; and is carried out by In Brasil Produção Cultural, Sesc São Paulo, Lei Paulo Gustavo and Ministry of Culture, Federal Government.
