The Brazilian singer stood out with the performance of two songs Tuesday night on the American program
Singer Anitta shone on Tuesday evening (14/5) on the stage of “The Voice” in the United States. The Brazilian pop star was the special guest of the program broadcast by NBC and presented by Carson Daly. Her participation attracted attention on social media and was part of the promotion of her new album “Funk Generation”.
Performance and repertoire
Anitta performed on the program stage with the songs “Ahí” and “Loose Ya Breath”. Both are part of the album “Funk Generation”, released on April 26th. This was the first time the artist performed the songs on television in the United States. Accompanied by her official ballet, the artist mixed Brazilian rhythm with North American pop, enchanting the audience.

The performance on The Voice is part of the intense promotion agenda of the “Funk Generation” project. In addition to The Voice, Anitta will perform on the “Today Show” on May 31. The event is traditionally held outside Rockefeller Plaza and in the past has featured performances from big names such as Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.
Meanwhile Anitta will begin her first world tour, “Baile Funk Experience”, which will visit 13 countries, including the United States, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, United Kingdom, France, Spain and Italy. The date for the shows in Brazil has not yet been announced.
