Sir Paul McCartney joked with the American musician during the awards ceremony
Paul McCartney81 years old, took advantage of the awards ceremony to make fun of the musician Bruce Springsteen, 74 years old, this Thursday the 23rd.
Springsteen, believed to represent the American working class, took the stage at the event Ivor Novello Award to receive the British Music Award trophy from Paul McCartney. However, I didn’t expect the reception with the traditional English humour.
The American musician is the first artist outside the UK to receive the award. “I can’t think of anyone more suitable,” says Paul, who adds: “With the exception, perhaps, of Bob Dylan. Or Paul Simon, or Billy Joel, or Beyoncé or Taylor Swift. The list is long,” he joked.
