Last Monday (10), the businessman Simon Cowell did an interview for the podcast The diary of a CEO and spoke of a possible return of the group A direction.
“If one of the band members, for whatever reason, said they didn’t want to tour, that could prevent the others from doing it. So if I had the name, there wouldn’t be any problems,” he has declared.
“One thing I regret is that I should have kept the name… I should have owned it. That’s the problem. I could have made an animation or whatever, but when you name an artist, it’s not yours, and that’s my only regret” declared.
It is worth mentioning that One Direction appeared on the program The X factor in 2010. They were active for 5 years and sold 50 million copies.
The split occurred in 2016, with all members pursuing solo careers.
