Copies of the new album “Forever” were reportedly mechanically signed
Bon Jovi’s record label has been accused of selling signed copies of the new album Forever with false signatures.
Some fans claim Jon Bon Jovi’s autographs in internal flyers they were created using an automatic pen techniquea mechanical model, and were not physically signed by the singer himself.
Universal Music Group has been the target of angry social media posts and has yet to take a position on the case.
OR Live autograph -site that helps collectors identify real and fake signatures – contains a thread in which at least six models of automatic pens have been identified, all mechanically reproduced.
Kevin Keating, the world’s best autograph authenticator, Professional sports authenticator (PSA), confirmed on the portal Cllct that some autographs are fake, due to the tremors that are usually detected in this type of machine.
Jon Bon Jovi has not yet commented on the matter. Last month he shared a photo of himself preparing to sign some copies of the album.

Forever is the first album since the singer underwent surgery for vocal cord atrophy, which forced the group to cancel their 2022 tour.
