Christianwho was part of the duo with Ralph, died on Wednesday night (19th), around 10.15 pm. The singer, who was 67 years old, was rushed by a military police helicopter and was admitted to the Samaritano hospital in Sao Paulo yesterday morning, but did not survive.

The country singer of the duo “Christian and Ralph”he suffered from a disease called polycystic kidney disease, a genetic condition that causes clusters of cysts to develop in the organ.

Chrystian had to be hospitalized in February after being diagnosed with the disease, at which time he was due to undergo a transplant, the donation of which was made by his wife, the now widowed Key Vieira. However, the surgery has been postponed until the end of the year. During the preoperative examinations it was necessary to carry out a catheterization on the famous man.

The cause of death was not revealed in a note sent by the family. Relatives mourned the artist’s departure and remembered his love for music, a profession he had embraced as a child.
