In an interview, the singer recalled an embarrassing moment in a hotel room
Ed Sheeran revealed in a recent podcast interview Therapist with Jake Shane the embarrassing moment he spent in a hotel room.
The voice of Think aloud he remembers drinking alcohol and ending up leaving his room, thinking he was going to the bathroom.
“I was drinking Cafe Patron liquor and went to bed. I sleep naked – I like the freedom it brings to my life”explained the British star of 33 years. “I woke up in the middle of the night to urinate, opened the bathroom door and went out. Suddenly the door closed and I opened my eyes and I was in the hallway completely naked, without my room key. I was there with the internal CCTV (circuit camera), like ‘Fuck’, I looked around and thought: ‘How do I get out of this situation?'”, He said.
However, Sheeran he managed to find help in the midst of the embarrassing situation and turned to the hotel reception for help: “Someone’s room service tray was outside the room with a napkin on it, so I took the napkin, covered the trash and went into the hotel lobby, all the way to the back.”
And he continued: “It was four in the morning and there was nobody there except someone watching me, and I was performing that weekend and I said, ‘Can you please not tell anyone?’”
“They came and let me into my room and my security guard deleted the footage,” concluded Ed Sheeran.
