Known as one of the main names of punk in Brazil, Supla has always explored other musical genres throughout his career. In his most recent release, he sings trap on the single “Faster (Vicious End).”
It is worth noting how the song is part of an EP made in partnership with the DJ and producer Gustah. Furthermore, “Faster (Vicious End)” will have a music video filmed entirely in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, and will soon be available on YouTube.
In a statement to Rolling Stone Brazil, Supla revealed how collaboration with Gustah resulted in six songs, which shouldn’t take long to be revealed to fans and the public. “I like the beat of trap… for me it’s very relaxing,” he said. “I decided to make some melodies there and then that ended up becoming songs.”
“Don’t think I’ve changed my style [risos],” he continued. “We are already in the final process of another rock album with the Boutique Punksbut I’m also musically open-minded and the more art I can make, I’ll be making!” Listen to “Faster (Vicious End)” below:
