Summary
Winter Play celebrates 20 years and has become one of the most anticipated electronic events in Brazil, bringing together tourists from all over the world to Jurerê Internacional.
Five special parties will mark the 20 years of history of Winter Play, which have put Jurerê Internacional on the route of winter destinations. The brand (@winter_play) combines entertainment, gastronomy, lifestyle and tourism, with the aim of surprising through the visual experience and each year highlights a theme. Exceptionally, in 2024 – due to the climate tragedy of Rio Grande do Sul -, it takes place in September: between the 6th and the 8th, and brings a novelty: from 2025 it becomes itinerant.
The main party of the event this year, at Music Park, will feature Belgian DJ Maxi Meraki and Argentinian producer and singer Sofi Castañon. The line-up also includes DJs Ckto, Diego Druck, Dyve and Moser. The dress code for the evening is black and silver. Winter Play closes the 2024 edition on Sunday (8/9), starting at 6 am, with the After Party and DJs Alaikke, Ricardo Lin and Vykk.
Winter Play was born to unite the world of entertainment with that of electronic music and has established itself as an important premium party by combining super production with musical programming. Investing in diversity, the event that began in the capital of Santa Catarina, in a hotel by the sea, has moved to Jurerê Internacional. In each edition, Winter Play receives an average of 4 thousand tourists, 15.2% of which come from abroad.
One of the most anticipated moments of Winter Play is “Play The Moment”, when a surprise attraction enters the scene with a show. The party has had artists such as Junior Lima (2009 and 2019), Gabriel O Pensador (2011), Latino (2013), Tiago Abravanel (2014) and Rogério Flausino (2019), as well as the international John Martin (2012) in the lineup.
During its 62 days of celebrations, more than 350 national and international attractions performed in front of an audience of 120 thousand people. They include names of electronic music such as: Apache, Claptone, Erick Morillo, Kaskade and Matthew Koma, as well as the Brazilians: Alok and Vintage Culture.
“Winter Play is one of the most anticipated electronic events in Brazil. I remember receiving the invitation to be the headliner with great enthusiasm. It was a night for about 5 thousand people, all with the same atmosphere, the same synergy”, says DJ Ok. “The theme of that edition was Light and, coincidentally (if it exists) my name in Sanskrit means light! Playing on a label like this is important not only for the artist, but also for the country”, adds the Brazilian DJ.
