In early August, the artist released a video on social media titled “Unprepared Certeza”. The images seem to give clues to two unreleased songs.

The musician also surprised fans on July 23, when he posted a snippet of a new song accompanied by a video. Citing Friedrich Nietzschethe singer wrote in the caption: “When you stare into the abyss for too long, the abyss stares back at you.”

Chapters

The publications give signs about the third chapter of the trilogy created by Tesfayewhich includes After Hours and Dawn FM. He also confirmed on social media that “there will be three chapters” in the unique show that will take place in São Paulo, on September 7th.

Arrival in Brazil

The Weeknd is already among us! The musician posted this Monday, the 2nd, a photo on X, the former Twitter, with the caption: “You can’t see this, but we’re here, baby”. The social network has been offline in the country since Saturday, the 31st, after an order from the STF (Supreme Federal Court).

Transmission

YouTube will exclusively broadcast the one-off show The Weeknd in Brazil this year, on September 7th, at MorumBIS Stadium. After performing a sold-out global tour for the past two years, the musician is expected to perform hits and give a glimpse of his next project at the performance in São Paulo.

The Weeknd will donate 10% of net proceeds from all merchandise sales at the event and online to BrazilFundation’s Brazilian Soul Fund. These funds will directly support communities in Brazil affected by natural disasters and economic hardship, with a focus on helping the most vulnerable families in the south of the country recover and rebuild their lives following the recent floods that affected the region.
