Bands and songs often mark love stories. In one such case, Igor Andrade, 30, and Marina Gordano, 27, met at a concert at NXZero 10 years ago and today they are committed to staying on Sunset stage to watch the group Rock in Rio.

The couple first met in 2014, as the Salvadoran, a fan of the band since childhood, says. Earth: “I’ve been a big fan of NX Zero since I was 8, 9 years old. I started listening to it as a child, very little, so it became part of my life. I grew up with NX accompanying me. We [ela e o namorado] We were at the show in 2014, at the Summer Festival. And now we are back after 10 years.”
The passion for the group has also led to bonds that go beyond the boyfriend: “I have made so many friends thanks to NX Zero. We are staying at the house of a friend I met thanks to NX Zero!”
Rock in Rio, however, is not the first time they have returned together to the band’s show, although on some occasions they have seen it from different points of the audience.
“I have a strong memory with NX of a show that I arrived late to and it was the very day they announced the end of the band! We arrived at the last song, it must have been in 2015 or 2016. I went back on tour to the Arena Fonte Nova with my friends. He went too, but I was in front and he was in the back, so we didn’t have fun together,” Marina continued.
Igor also said that initially, only his girlfriend would be at Cidade do Rock this Sunday. But it was the NX Zero show that made him buy the ticket for that date.
“At first she was only coming today, Saturday, and I was only coming on Sunday. But I remembered that at Rock in Rio in 2019 she went one day thanks to me and then this time I said: ‘no, I’ll go with her that day so we can enjoy NX together again’, it’s been a long time since then we liked it more because the band had split up. Tomorrow I’m also here for Incubus and Avenged”, he added.
The NX Zero band show is scheduled to start around 10:45 PM at the end of the day on the Sunset Stage. Marina and Igor plan to stay on the grid until the end of the presentation.
