Oasis fans were surprised with more expensive tickets than initially announced for the 2025 tour
Gene Simmons came to the defense of Oasis after controversy involving ticket prices for the band’s shows scheduled for 2025. Due to high demand, tickets began to cost more than the initially announced price — an operation called dynamic pricing.
Fans were not happy with the exorbitant ticket prices, but the lead singer of Kiss argued: “They can go f*ck themselves. You have the most power, supply and demand.”

“Whatever the price is, it’s all academic. Someone sits in a room and tries to figure out how far the rubber band can stretch. And if you’re not selling tickets, guess what happens? The price goes down. Capitalism!” he continued when asked about the subject in an interview with Forbes (via NME).
If you don’t want to pay all this, don’t go [ao show]. I’m sure it will happen somewhere, and you’ll find a way and keep complaining. Social media has opened up a path of self-expression without policing. It’s like the traffic in Italy and France, where people drive around on their own. It’s insane.
Simmons added: “It’s also a way to get attention, but the quiet people, the ones who don’t use social media, vote with their money. You don’t like the ticket price? Don’t buy a ticket.”
