After Journey perform one of the most criticized shows of the 2024 edition of Rock in Rio, Arnel Pineda spoke once again about the group’s poor performance and revealed that he could leave the group if the fans wanted.
In a publication made in Facebook made on the morning of this Sunday, 22nd, the artist explained that he is still shaken by the poor performance. “Once again, thank you very much to everyone who went to the show Journey since February of this year. I appreciate you all so much. And not only that: every time I’m on stage with the band, I feel immense gratitude and honor,” he wrote.
“No one in this world feels more devastated about this than I do. It’s truly amazing how a thousand right things you did will be forgotten just because of this… and in so many places for it to happen, it happens right in the Rock in Rio,” he continued.
Here’s the deal right now… I’m offering you guys (especially those who hated me and never liked me from the beginning) a chance right now to simply text me ‘GO’ or ‘STAY’. If the ‘GO’ option reaches 1 million, I’m leaving for good. Shall we play, guys? Let’s get started.
“God bless you all and thank you again to all the fans and friends who believed in me from day one,” he concluded. Arnel Pineda in the publication.
