panic! At The Disco: Brendon Urie’s Twitter account is being blocked by people for no reason; understand

Panic! At The Disco, Brendon Urie was among the most talked about topics on Twitter this week

Brendon Urielead singer of panic! At The Disco, became the target of a mass Twitter block. On the afternoon of last Tuesday, 12, several users of the social network decided to block the musician’s profile, for no specific reason, as part of a joke.

The intent is to give a nonsensical justification for blocking the account, such as “Taylor Swift did not tour for 1989 (Taylor’s Version) / Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)so I blocked Brendon Urie.” Or: “I will never again have the experience of hearing Twenty One Pilots for the first time, so I blocked Brendon Urie on twitter.”

Even the controversy involving doja cat and Noah Schnappafter the singer criticized the actor for spreading messages between them, it became reason enough to Urie be blocked on Twitter. “doja cat and Noah Schnapp are fighting so I blocked Brendon Urie,” wrote one account.

And, of course, there are those who took advantage of the wave of blocking to justify the blocks: “I already blocked Brendon Urie, so I’m unlocking to lock again.” “Nothing specific led to this, I just blocked it Brendon Urie for my own mental health,” wrote another account.
