In some responses to fans made on Twitter, currently called X, Liam Gallagher justified why Oasis avoided journalists
One of the hottest musical attractions of 2025 is the reunion tour of Oasisiconic English rock band formed by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. Despite all the attention, the duo decided not to give interviews to journalists for the series of shows.
It is worth remembering how the group was very successful in the 1990s and 2000s, but split up in 2009 after a series of fights and internal conflicts. To date, they have confirmed live performances in countries such as the UK, Ireland, Australia, USA and Mexico.
In a publication made in Twittercurrently called Xthis Thursday, 10, Liam Gallagher replied a fan who joked: “I think Noel doesn’t want to do interviews with you because you’re funnier.” However, the singer gave a serious response.
“We don’t want to do interviews because we’re afraid the media will ask us intrusive questions and try to find fault with our relationship,” said the 52-year-old artist. One day before, Liam still denied that Oasis will hold a press conference.
