Lucas Lucco is robbed in Holland: “I never thought it could happen here”

The singer had his passport, Rolex and other personal items stolen, resulting in a loss of R$100,000 after a car break-in in Amsterdam

Singer Lucas Lucco used Instagram this Sunday (20/10) to report that he was the victim of a theft in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, while taking part in a race. The singer showed the broken glass of his car and detailed the stolen items, including a passport, a Gucci backpack and a Rolex. “I ended up at the police station… I left my car parked, someone broke the window and took my backpack, my passports, my phone, everything,” he explained. Lucas expressed surprise at the crime: “I never thought this would happen here.”

Frustration with the local police

In his stories Lucco reported that he had tracked his earphone, which was inside his backpack, but the tracking was not effective. “We posted the location of the airpod, but it hadn’t been there for 20 minutes,” he complained. He criticized the actions of the authorities: “The police didn’t do shit,” he said. “He took me there, put me in the van,” the singer continued, frustrated by his failed attempt to locate the criminal.

Damage and next steps

The singer detailed the items taken during the theft: “The Gucci backpack, the Rolex submarine, my airpod, my race badge… a loss of 100 [mil reais]at the very least,” he said. Lucas said he would have to return to the police station to formalize a police report and subsequently obtain an emergency passport at the Brazilian embassy in the Netherlands. “I have never been robbed, robbed in Brazil. They never broke my car window,” he said, concluding his rant. “I couldn’t wait to meet this guy… I was about to hit him in the head. How angry!”
