Banda let one of the confirmed dates slip — which, contrary to recent speculation, will not be in Brazil
THE AC/DC may be about to confirm another stage of his tour Power Upin promotion of the 2020 album. At least that is what some leaks of information that have occurred in the last few hours indicate.
As noted by Blabbermouthfans noted that the band’s official Facebook page announced a show on April 11, 2025, at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, United States. An event link was created by the account — and deleted shortly afterwards.
The URL also stated that ticket sales would begin this Friday (15). In other words: the tour should be announced throughout this week and should only cover North America.
So far, the group has not made an official statement. Check out the screenshot below.

AC/DC currently
After a 7-year hiatus away from the stage, the AC/DC performed live again last year, on a unique date at the American festival PowerTrip. In 2024, the group went on a 24-date tour of Europe.
There was speculation that Brazil would also be on the route, including a visit to Rock in Rio — festival that featured them in the first edition, in 1985. This, however, did not materialize.
The European tour featured Brian Johnson on vocals, Angus Young on solo guitar, Stevie Young on the rhythm guitar, Chris Chaney at the bottom and Matt Laug on the battery. Almost all of these musicians have some peculiarity to highlight:
— Brian Johnson returned to the stage after being absent from part of the previous tour, in 2016, due to a diagnosis of advanced deafness. Axl Rose (Guns N’ Roses) replaced him at the time. His return occurs after the development of special equipment that gave him back his hearing;
— Stevie Young is the nephew of Angus and his brother, Malcolm Youngoriginal rhythm guitarist who passed away in 2017 after years of suffering from dementia. The 67-year-old musician has occupied his uncle’s position since 2014;
— Chris Chaneybassist who has played with a series of famous names (Jane’s Addiction, Alanis Morissette, Taylor Hawkins, Joe Satriani, Slash etc), replaces Cliff Williamsabsent from current touring commitments due to unspecified health issues;
— Matt Laugdrummer who was also involved with several other artists (Alanis Morissette, The Dirty Knobs, Autograph etc.), occupies the position of Phil Ruddwho has not been on tour since he was arrested on charges of planning a murder and drug possession. He was cleared of the first charge and convicted of the second.
