Vocalist shared several stories from his life in two previous works, made available more than a decade ago
Ozzy Osbourne has already released two biographical books, both written in partnership with Chris Ayres. The first, I Am Ozzy (2010), was so successful that it led to a related work, Trust Me, I’m Dr. Ozzy (2011), focused on the singer’s stories with drugs and situations that put his survival to the test.
Since then, the original vocalist of Black Sabbath went through a lot. Therefore, it would not be unexpected for him to start writing another autobiography — which, according to the tabloid The Sun (via Yahoo), is happening.
An unidentified source interviewed by the Bizarre column, from the English newspaper in question, stated:
“Ozzy has had an explosive life and that hasn’t slowed down in recent years. He made headlines when he released his first autobiography I Am Ozzy, but a lot has changed since then.”
The person interviewed added:
“He’s had free time since he stopped performing, so a new book is a good project for him to focus on.”
Ozzy Osbourne’s health problems
If he chooses to recount what has happened in his life over the past 15 years, Osbourne will certainly devote many pages to his health dilemmas. In addition to revealing a diagnosis of Parkinson’s, the singer suffered a fall in 2019 that worsened a back problem that had existed since 2003, when he fell from a quad bike and needed surgery.
Ozzy hasn’t performed a full show since 2018, although he released the albums in 2020 and 2022 Ordinary Man and Patient Number 9respectively. At the ceremony of his entry into the Rock and Roll Hall of FameIn October, he was unable to sing and move around, sitting in a chair the entire time.
