Michelly Duarte leads agriculture with authenticity: “True happiness”

In an interview with CARAS Magazine, rural producer Michelly Duarte highlights the importance of agriculture in her career and opens up about her family

Animals shaped his passion for rural life.“I was born into a family where everyone has a little piece of land in the interior of Goiás. I grew up drinking milk in the farmyard and lived the best part of my life on a farm”, recalls Michelly.

She currently lives in the interior of São Paulo with her husband, Rodrigo Freitasand the children, John Gabriel (6), Philip (4) e Sofia (2), manages the family’s routine and farm activities, focused on the genetic improvement of the Guzera cattle breed, as well as the breeding of Appaloosa horses.

“I take advantage while the children are at school to do things that I don’t want them to be around, especially because of the risk of them getting hurt. I leave the more relaxed things, like collecting eggs or feeding the animals, for example, to what do with their help”, explains, that he tries to pass on the values ​​learned in rural life to the next generation and emphasizes the importance of teaching them simplicity and true happiness.

“We want to teach the same values ​​that we have learned to form their character. And, above all, that only in simplicity do we truly find true happiness”, he states.

Despite being a woman in a predominantly male industry, Michelly has never faced significant barriers. Thanks to the constant support of her parents, she has always had the freedom to learn and be involved in all aspects of the farm. For her there are no limits when you do what you love. “When we do what we love, we always find a solution to every difficulty”he states.

In addition to the needs of the farm, Michelly also dedicates himself to several projects. She works with essential oils, prepares desserts and cheeses with the farm’s milk and also pursues a career as a model, representing brands in both the agricultural sector and other segments.

To top it off, she shares her routine and teachings on social media, where she has more than 300,000 followers, inspiring other women and families with her simplicity, sincerity and charisma. “It’s like my husband always says, I have a thousand and one uses,” he ends laughing.
