Liam Gallagher reveals conditions for Oasis to release new album

Fans have been calling for the reunited band to make new songs available since the reunion was announced last August

The weapons fell silent. The stars aligned. THE Oasis announced in August that they would reunite for a series of shows.

With 41 dates already confirmed, the Oasis live tour in ’25 takes place between the months of July and November, passing through the United Kingdom, Ireland, North America, Japan, Australia and South America is the last destination on the agenda, with two presentations in Sao Paulo.

Even with the long season of shows, fans still wonder if the brothers Liam (voice) e Noël Gallagher (guitar) will also produce new music together. The first mentioned doesn’t help much: every now and then, the singer unleashes followers on X/Twitter, suggesting that an album is ready.

The situation has gotten out of control in recent weeks, to the point where he himself claimed, even online, that he was only joking by posting about the topic. However, the topic has been revisited again in a new series of posts, which seem to imply some seriousness.

It all started when an internet user claimed that Oasis would have the same attitude as the Stone Roses in 2012: they would play a series of shows saying there was an album coming out, then “disappear”. Liam replied: “For your information, asshole, no one promised an album”.

In another publication, the young Gallagher went further and set the conditions for this album to become a reality. He stated:

“I think if we can give it our all on this tour and be kind to each other, there could be an album. That’s what real bands do. Let’s take it one step at a time. I think you’ll agree that’s the wiser decision.” “

On the same network, when asked about the preparation of the shows, Liam stated:

“Damn Zen, I’ll start warming up the engines around May. I can’t wait. I just want to get on that stage and kill it.”

Oasis’ latest album

It’s been a while since Oasis released their last album. Dig out your soulseventh studio work by brothers Liam and Noel, was released on 6 October 2008. It contained the songs “The Shock of Lightning”, “I’m out of time” AND “Fall”available as singles.

The group disbanded the following year, after one of numerous arguments between the singer and the guitarist. The decision was made moments before a show that was to take place at the Rock en Seine festival in France.

It is not yet known who else will be involved in Oasis’ return. The band’s last lineup featured a guitarist Gem Archerthe bass player Andy Bell and the drummer Zak Starkey.
