The agreement was signed by the artist’s parents when she was a minor; the company says it is willing to reach an agreement if the conditions are met

The actress Larissa Manoela decided to sue the independent record label Deckdisc. The action taken by the artist’s defense is aimed at terminating the lifetime contract with the company.

Known for her activities in the music industry, the Deckdisc signed the agreement with Silvana Taques AND Gilberto Eliaparents of Larissa Manoela. She was a minor at the time and therefore legally represented by her family.

In an official note (via CNN), the lawyer Patrizia Poetti specified that the objective is “the termination of the contract between Larissa Manoela and the Deck record company, signed when she was just 11 years old and added when she was 17 with, at the time, her parents as representatives/consents”.

Elsewhere, the actress’s defense highlights a life clause contained in the agreement, described as “abusive” and “lack of responsibility”.

“It is worth emphasizing that Larissa never had access to financial reports and never received any amounts from this contract. Larissa did not even take advantage of the rights arising from her digital platforms, which today are completely reserved for the contractor, including access to all these media,” he concluded.

In response, the company denied that a lifetime clause exists. “It’s about the work or the weather. Because the jobs weren’t delivered, it was long-lasting,” he said.

“Deckdisc reaffirms, as already stated to the singer, its willingness to terminate the contract as soon as the conditions are satisfied,” he concluded.

Disagreement with parents

Lately, Larissa Manoela he became estranged from his parents due to disagreements regarding financial matters and his relationship with the actor André Luiz Frambachwhom he married in December 2023.

During an interview on the program Fantasticfrom the TVGloboin August of the same year, the actress expressed concern about her financial situation, mentioning that she often needed to request transfers via Pix from her parents to cover basic expenses.
