Former couple informed the public about their separation through social media: “to remain friends, partners and to transmute love in respect for our history and desires for the future”
Soon to be published on social media, Pitty and Daniel Weksler announced the end of their marriage. The relationship began in 2006, shortly after they met during a wedding ceremony. MTV Video Music Brasil (VMB), while the union was made official in 2010.
A text was shared on both their Instagram profiles. In it, the singer of her own band and the drummer of NXZero state:
“Life and its cycles. One that ends is always another that begins. Here, the decision to no longer be a couple brings, together, the choice to remain friends, partners and to transmute love in respect for our history and desires for the future. Let’s continue.”
Pitty and Daniel are parents of Madalena, who was born in 2016. Professionally, they worked together between the end of the last decade and 2022, when the drummer joined the vocalist’s band. He participated in the album Headquarters (2019), as well as the subsequent tour, an EP and a DVD recorded live.
