Jim Morrisonwho died in 1971, is being accused of rape by an ex-girlfriend.

Judy Huddleston is among the people close to the musician who gave a statement for the documentary series Before the End: Searching for Jim Morrison.

“I didn’t want to do [isso]and I said ‘no’ in all letters,” he said (via People). “And then he pinned my arms back and down, and that’s why I think — I’m not justifying it, but I think he was just beside himself.”

She also stated that the musician had constant mood changes: “His eyes were a sweet blue, and he was kind of tender. And then, suddenly… he looked like a possessed monster. Like, dilated black eyes, and it was beyond anger. It was fury, it was hatred.”

Huddleston and Morrison met backstage at a concert The Doors in the late 1960s and maintained a relationship for four years. The ex-girlfriend also talked about the romance in her 1991 book, This Is the End… My Only Friend: Living and Dying with Jim Morrisonwhich was updated in 2013 and received a new title, Love Him Madly.

She wrote that Morrison he didn’t want to have a relationship with her: “Secretly, I thought I would end up winning him over… I didn’t understand the price I was paying, how advantageous it was for him… I feel more compassion for Jim than I did before.”
