Louis Tomlinson comments on possible One Direction reunion: ‘I’ll be devastated if it doesn’t happen’

Louis Tomlinson opens up about his relationship with former boyband One Direction bandmates

One Direction was a pop music phenomenon, particularly among teenagers. Since the hiatus of boyband in 2015, many fans are looking forward to a reunion of the group members.

In an interview with the Australian podcast sunrise, Louis Tomlinson talked about the possibility of a meeting with Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan – which is not totally discarded by the former members.

“I’m going to be very devastated if it doesn’t happen,” said the British singer. “The impossible question to answer is when. I have no idea, but I would be very, very surprised if one day we didn’t. It would be a waste.”

Tomlison also highlighted the admiration he has for each of his solo career colleagues, in addition to seeing the trajectory of One Direction very proud. “It’s nice to be able to watch! What’s great, or what I’m proud of, is that everyone went on their own musical journey and kind of created that identity.”

It is unclear how long fans of the One Direction will have to wait for that meeting to take place, but in the meantime, Tomlinson is on tour in Australia to promote the album Wallsreleased in 2020. The tour went through São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in May of this year.
