The iconic hip-hop group will perform at Planet Hollywood in February
The iconic hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas announced this Tuesday (21st) that they have canceled their residency Las Vegas (United States) of “current circumstances”.
The Black Eyed Peas, formed by Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap AND Tabooinformed fans through Stories From Instagram the frustrating decision: “To our beloved Peabodies, it is with regret that, due to current circumstances, our shows in Las Vegas will not go forward as planned.”
And they continued: “Ticket providers will automatically issue full refunds. Stay tuned for updates on future shows by following us – we look forward to seeing you again.”
Black Eyed Peas: The trio will perform 15 shows in Las Vegas
The trio was scheduled to perform 15 shows node Planet Hollywood between the months of February and May. They announced the new residency in September last year, with Will.I.Am promising fans they would push the boundaries of the “live show experience”.
“Our first residency in Las Vegas gives The Black Eyed Peas the opportunity to do what we do best, dream up something totally new and creative that pushes the boundaries of the live concert experience.”he said Will.I.Amleader of the group he will complete 30 years in 2025.
“We draw inspiration from Disney rides, Las Vegas shows, concerts, artificial intelligence and technology. We will reinvent the way we perform, creating an interactive show, a journey to 3008 that is as much a show as it is an opera theatrical.
