Students from Vila Mariana, Jardins and Moema units performed at Cine Joia before great artists such as Supla and Fernanda Lira
Open shows for artists like Supla and FERNANDA LIRAespecially on the stage of Cine jewel (One of the most traditional concert houses in São Paulo), is no easy task. However, the house bands from School of Rock managed to fulfill the mission quietly with three great shows, which took place on the night of last Saturday, 8, for Rolling Stone Sessions.
In the presentation, the public saw performances of groups of the units of Mariana Vila, Gardens and Moema. They celebrated icons of music and rock, with covers of “At More Tears“, from Ozzy Osbourne; “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll“, from Joan Jett; “Now you just miss you“, from Rita Lee and Tutti Frutti; And much more. The setlist varied between three and four songs.
First, came the band of the unit of Vila Mariana, with setlist dedicated exclusively to female artists, celebrating International Women’s Day, with covers of Alanis Morissette, In the double, Avril Lavigne and Joan Jett. Then came the people of the gardens unit with rock giants: Scorpions, Van Halen and Ozzy Osbourne. Finally, the Moema House Band brought a more eclectic set, with Avenged Sevenfold, Paramore, Iron Maiden and Rita Lee.
After School of Rockit was the turn of Supla take the stage to honor Beatles And to end the big night, Fernanda Lira debuted the show singing (and counting) Amy Winehouseowner of hits like “Rehab“and”Back to black“).
