Music 19 years old, Frank Ferrer is no longer a drummer at Guns N ‘Roses

In a statement on the networks, band confirmed a breach considered friendly with musician who had been part of the training since 2006

Frank Ferrer It is no longer a drummer of Guns n ‘Roses. In a social networking publication, the American Hard Rock band confirmed the break with the musician, considered friendly.

In addition to the GN’R for 19 years – since 2006, which made him the group’s fastest drummer – Ferrer joined The Psychedelic Furs, Love Spit Love and The Beautiful. Also worked as a hired musician with PJ Harvey, Frank Black (Pixies), Neil Young, Perry Farrell (Jane ‘Addiction), between others.

The statement published by Guns thanks Frank and briefly recalls his trajectory as successor to Rob Gardner (original member, despite a lightning pass), Steven Adler, Matt Sorum, Josh Freese and Bryan Mantia.

“Guns N ‘Roses announces the friendly departure of Frank Ferrer. The band thanks Frank for their friendship, creativity and robust presence over the last 19 years and wishes success in the next chapter of their musical journey.

Frank initially joined GN’R during a show in June 2006, helping to establish the rhythmic section during the following tours, including recent initiatives bringing the trio gathered with Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan. His last show with the band took place on November 5, 2023, in Mexico. ”
