New space of the Festival, who will have the singer like Mc Hariel, Kayblack and Black Pantera
The city 2025 continues to expand its proposal of diversity and musical representativeness. The organization of the Festival has announced on Tuesday (15) the creation of a new space that promises to give even more voice to Brazilian music: The Broken Stage.
Curated by artists who express the periphery of the suburbs, the new stage will present the singer Belo as his official ambassador and will receive, among other attractions, names such as Mc Hariel, Black Pantera, Kayblack and Criolo.
This year’s edition of the city will take place on 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 September at the Interlagos race track in San Paolo. The inclusion of the broken phase in the structure of the festival strengthens the organization of the organization towards the plurality of the sound and culture of Brazil.
The proposal goes beyond music: the new space tries to represent, in a symbolic and concrete way, the voices and experiences of the Broken, which has long influenced urban art in the country.
The name of the stage, by the way, is a direct and proud reference to the origins of many of the artists who climb on stage and the peripheral urban scenario that shape most of what is listened to in the Brazilian playlists today. “Break” here is not synonymous with absence, but of creative power. And it is this spirit that the stage intends to embody during the days of the event.
The city 2025: Initiative enhances the culture of the suburbs
Mc Hariel, known for his texts that moves between social criticisms and the celebration of life in the slums, is one of the great bets to shake the public. Kayblack, another National Trap phenomenon, also promises a powerful presentation.
Already the Black Pantera group, which mixes the punk, metallic and anti -racist discourse, puts on stage an explosive and politicized energy. And Criolo, always versatile and impact, completes the formation with his repertoire that crosses rap, samba and MPB with equal mastery.
With Bella as a symbolic figure of the healing, the stage is anchored in decades of connection between romantic popular music and the sound of urban communities. The singer, who built his career by dialogue directly with the suburbs, represents the bridge between generations of Brazilian popular music that are now in this new space.
But the city does not only concern the national scene. The main phases will also receive international attractions such as Katy Perry, Mariah Carey, Green Day and Iggy Pop – names that promise to make this edition one of the most memorable parties.
The arrival of the broken phase is not only an expansion of the physical structure of the city, but a statement of identity and inclusion. In one of the largest festivals in the country, making room for the voices of the suburbs is also making room for a new understanding of what represents the true sound of contemporary Brazil.
The city 2025 is already drawing as a vibrant encounter between cultures, generations and rhythms. And with the Broken, the Festival further expands its mission to celebrate music in all its forms – from Broken to the World.
