Barbra Streisand He announced that he will release a duet album with some of the greatest names in the song. The disc The secret of life: partner, volume two It will be released on June 25 and will have 11 tracks.
Among the partnerships, there are artists like Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Puncture, Seal, Tim Mcgraw, Mariah Carey AND Ariana Grande. The collection will be made up of original songs and covers.
The song that opens the album is a cover of The first time I saw your faceinterpreted alongside Hozier (of successes like Too sweet AND Bring me to church) and is now available on the main streaming platforms.
The song was originally written by the English folk artist Ewan Maccoll for his wife, Peggy Seeger, but had another successful interpretation in Roberta Flack’s voice, who died in February 2025.
The song was also a great success for being the soundtrack of an intimate scene between Clint Eastwood and Donna Mills in the film Perverse passion1971. Streisand and Hozier give their interpretation. Listen:
