Almost 15 years have passed since Lady Gaga came to Brazil for the first time. Eight ago, when he would make her long -awaited return, the singer canceled her presentation in the Rock in Rio – Originating the infamous “Brazil, I’m Devastated” – And he withdrew from the stage to deal with his health.
After much waiting, on the night of last Saturday, May 3, in its best foma, Gaga He was reborn on the sands of Copacabana and, humbly, apologized to his Brazilian fans, who eagerly awaited her for all this time, giving them a show that will never leave her memories never again.
Unlike Madonnawhich gave the start non-official celebrating his 40 years of career with a retrospective of his greatest hits, Gaga did not mind pleasing the 2.1 million people in the sand, only in part formed by their Little Monstersand presented The Art of Personal Chaosthe theatrical show with the Californian Coachella festival in early April.

THE ART OF PERSONAL CHAOSas the title of the work can be translated, is divided into five acts and, mainly, the albums The Fame (2008), The Fame Monster (2009), Born this waY (2001) and Mayhemlaunched in March this year. So who went to the beach waiting hits as “Just Dance”, “Telephone”, “You and I”, “Applause”, “Rain on me”, “911”, “Perfect Illusion” And so many other hits, was disappointed.
The conversation was with each of his Little Monsters Brazilians who, since the singer’s arrival in the country, set up camp in front of Copacabana Palace, day and night, costumed under the hot sun, singing the songs of Gaga Hoping to have at least one Mother Monster glimpse from the window window at the iconic hotel.
She did not reward them with shallow appearances, or any of that, but with a public statement of love: “The people of Brazil is the reason why I can shine. Today you are as vibrant and beautiful as the sun and the moon emerging on the ocean, right here at Copacabana Beach”the artist said, in the midst of tears, after performing one of the greatest hits of her career, “Paparazzi”.
“Today I will give everything about myself. We will do this the biggest show we have ever done together. Let’s make every second waiting for you to. I loved you 10 years ago and I love you tonight. Thank you, Brazil.completed.
It was good to hear, but it didn’t need to be said: Gaga He was visibly ecstatic with the passion of his fans. Besides presenting breathtaking numbers – as in “Poker face”in which he plays a giant chess against an old version of hers – the artist brought honors to Brazil, with costumes with the colors of the Brazilian flag and, during the fun and passionate “How Bad Do U Want Me”with their dancers all dressed in the flag of the Brazilian team.

She also made a point of making it clear how happy she was able to return and still be embraced by Little Monsters Brazilians, as if only days had passed since its last coming: “The last time I was here, we became friends. Now we are family “decreed before starting Shallowfrom the soundtrack of A star is born(2018).
Next to the end of the show, in “Vanish Into You”one of the highlights Mayhem, Gaga He told fans that during his stay, he accompanied all his attempts to draw his attention, including singing his songs, and stressed that the song was dedicated especially to the song Little Monsters. “Now it’s me who will sing for you”joked.

During the presentation, she still picked up a flag of the LGBTQIAPN+ movement – which she had already honored earlier, to the sound of “Born this way”considered a hymn for the community – and paraded on the stage before going down and greeting the fans, who squeezed on the bars with the hope of getting a little closer to Gaga.
The singer finished her show with one of her biggest hits, “Bad Romance”from the album The Fame Monster (2009), but the closure even came with help from fans. At the end of the song, Gaga sat at the end of the stage, surrounded by his dancers and, thrilled, watched the Little Monsters Sing the song back to her. Gradually, the artist joined the choir in a makeshift replay, and once again declared herself before leaving the stage for the last time: “I love you, Brazil”.
