Future Bad Festival takes place in November in Los Angeles with shows by the creators of White Lotus, Batman and Stranger Things, among others
Trent Reznor and Atticus Rossduo behind NINE INH NAILS and of award -winning film trails, they announced the FUTURE BLACKnew festival dedicated to movies and series composers. The event takes place on November 8, at the Equestrian Center in Los Angeles and will bring together legendary music names to screen.
Among the confirmed artists are John Carpenter, MARK MOTORSBAUGH, Goblin (with Claudio Simonetti), Questlove – that will interpret works of Curtis Mayfield -, in addition to Danny Elfman, Hildur Guðnadottir, ISOBEL WALLER-BRIDGE, Cristóbal Tapia de Veer, Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow, Kyle Dixon & Michael Steinamong many others. One of the highlights will be the live performance of the “Crash”from David Cronenbergcomposed of Howard Shore.
THE FUTURE BLACK It will have three stages and invites the artists to reimagine their trails in unique performances. “It’s about giving those who dominate the art of thrilling audiences with music the chance to tell new live stories,” he explained Reznor.

The idea of the festival was mentioned for the first time last year, in an interview with Reznor and Ross the GQwhen they revealed plans to create an event focused on composers. The first teasers came the night before the official announcement, and now the FUTURE BLACK It is presented as “an unprecedented musical festival with the most influential composers in the world”.
Reznor and Ross they continue to the rise in the soundtrack scene and this year they won the Golden Globe of Best Original Trail put Challengers. The award was delivered by Elton Johnwho celebrated with an excited “Yay!”
Tickets will be for sale on Wednesday, May 21st through the site.
