As promised, the former Debourist of Foo Fighters, Josh Freeseshared a humorous list of the 10 possible reasons why he may have been fired from the band.
Freese revealed his departure late last week, saying that the Foo Fighters informed him that they had decided “Following a different path with the drummer” and added: “No reason has been given”. Although he was grateful for time in the band, he also admitted to being “Shocked and disappointed” with the decision.
Still, he kept the good mood and promised the fans: “Stay tuned to my ‘list of 10 possible reasons why Josh was kicked from Foo Fighters'”. This list arrived on Instagram last Monday, 19.
There are funny and absurd reasons for dismissal, such as: “He whistled ‘My Hero’ without stopping for a whole week on the tour ”; “I just knew the name of a song from Fugazi”; and “He never even tried to let his beard grow.”

Regarding your style of playing drums, Freese joked that her “Metronomous accuracy behind the kit was considered ‘soulless’” and that he demanded that every rehearsal started “With a 20 -minute cowbell sound bath”. Another possible source of voltage? “Polyrritia”mocked.
In other excerpts, the drummer joked that he lost a studio session “Because Mercury was retrograde”; that he “He refused to present himself unless he received an Ouija and Nunchakus board after each show”; And that promised the Noodlesfrom Offspringthat he could be the fourth guitarist of Foo Fighters. “But you promised!”answered Noodles himself in the comments.
But the number one reason for your resignation, joked Freese: “All this thing of the Poodles was starting to cross the line”. In fact, Freese is extremely dedicated to his numerous poodles).

Freese spent about two years at Foo Fighters, having joined the band in May 2023 to fill the vacancy left after the sudden death of Taylor Hawkins the previous year. Foo Fighters has not yet issued an official statement about the decision to dismiss Freese, nor did it announce who will be its replacement. For now, the band has four shows scheduled for 2025, all in Asia and in October.
